What We Do
Since 1995, Hope for Romania has been bringing together the global community of Christ to support the Roma people. We partner with churches, companies, and individuals across the world in welcoming and assisting children, adolescents, young people and adults. Our greatest indicator of success is the smile on the faces of people who attend our programming and receive the necessary support to develop in each stage of their spiritual, physical, and economic development.
Our main focus has been church planting with a goal for the churches eventually to become autonomous. To date we are presently working in seven villages: Ip, Ceresha, Doh, Marca, Nusfalau, Samsud & Ghida.
Church Planting
We have hosted over 3500 people in Romania in the last 28 years. Folks come to help with Evangelism, After School Programs, Construction, Camp, Medical Programs, & Poverty Alleviation.
Mission Teams
We have after school programs in two of our villages. Eventually, we hope to have a school in every village where we work. Our workers help the children with their homework and give them a meal and of course a Bible lesson.

Years ago we met on Saturdays in the winter to study the Bible in Romania, to learn to preach and teach others the word of God. We have now partnered with Global Life University for our Roma people to get and accredited Bible college degree
Global Life University
Located in the foothills of the Carpathian mountains, our camp serves children from five to thirteen years old, throughout the summer months. For most of our children, this is the highlight of their entire year.

Hope for Romania is constantly coordinating efforts with medical partners to provide medical care and resources to our communities that don't have access to basic health and dental care.
